WRITING
WORKSHOPS/EXPERIENCES
WRITER'S CENTER IN BETHESDA
One wonderful resource for children and teens who enjoy writing (stories,
poems, anything) is the Writer's Center in Bethesda. The Center runs workshops
during the summer and may be just the thing for teachers to recommend for kids
who enjoy writing. And, of course, the Center has workshops for adults, too.

100words
For writers, the challenge is to write every day. See some examples from
participants who wrote 100 words (exactly) every day for a month. Some are
poems; some are stories.
