The Media Center will have Lunch Bunch for 6th grade today.

 

If you still have a Media Center book, you are so late!  We needed these books back on Monday.  You will make the librarian very unhappy if you delay any more bringing your book back - and you don't want to do that!  Come to the Media Center today if you still owe us a book.  After Friday, this will become a formal obligation.  8th graders - don't miss your Kings Dominion trip - get those books back now!

 

The PTA is collecting used cell phones - please bring whatever cell phones your family does not need any longer, and place them in the boxes just outside the front office!  They'll be recycled in a responsible way - and it earns money for Hoover.  Thanks.

 

It's coming...the H-M-S End of the Year Bash:  Friday, June 8th starting at 7:00 PM.  Check out the movie...Journey Two...the mysterious island...on a giant screen in the gym.  Bring your own lawn chairs or blankets...and enjoy a movie with your friends before summer hits!  Admission is free...music, popcorn...and more!  Check out the signs around school for more info or on twitter use hash tag...H M S...End of Year Bash.

 

This announcement is for all Hoover boys' team soccer players.  If you have not done so, please turn in your soccer uniform as soon as possible.  Failure to do so will result in a financial obligation to the school.  Please have your uniform turned in to Mr. Marra-Lopez in P-12 as soon as possible.  Thank you and Gracias!

 

 

ALL, all, all SSL forms are due to Mrs. Marsteller in room 116 by June 1st.  That is the due date and deadline.  If you are doing SSL activities over the summer, be sure to check for their status and MCPS preapproved (via the Hoover Homepage - SSL quick link), if it's not preapproved you must get a special activities form signed before any work can count.  All forms are on the quick links.

 

Listen up for Yearbook Lottery information:

-  Students may enter the lottery on Thursday, May 24th, and Friday, May 25th, during lunch.

-  Students entering the lottery will bring in a check payable to Hoover Middle School for $55.00.  Without a check, students will not be allowed to enter the lottery. 

-  During each lunch, an announcement will be made in the cafeteria, for students to bring up their checks to enter the lottery.  Students wanting to enter the lottery should plan to be in the cafeteria for lunch on one of those days.

- Names will be drawn after the holiday weekend and books will be distributed to the winners by Friday, June 1st.

-  Checks will be returned to students whose names are not drawn in the lottery.
