TAKE TIME TO READ A GOOD BOOK!

Staff Recommendations: The Media Center staff are pleased to offer suggestions to help you find books that really interest you. Just ask!

Hoover students are again participating in the Maryland Black-Eyed Susan (BES) reading program. Check out our new Black-Eyed Susan Books page for descriptions of this year's nominees.

Hoover's English and Reading teachers also recommend reading classics. Try these links to find one that appeals to you.

8th graders at Hoover read a utopian/dystopian novel mid-year. Here is a list of a wide range of books from the Hoover Media Center that work well for this assignment.

7th graders read about World War II during the 3rd marking period. This descriptive list of books in our Media Center has 3 sections: fiction, biographies and a small sample of our non-fiction collection.
