ESOL
Goal:
The goal of the ESOL program is to provides intensive instruction to support English language acquisition for the English Language Learners (ELLs) enrolled in the ESOL.
Students receive systematic instruction in the ESOL content area, using the rigorous, locally developed standards-based ESOL curriculum, supports the annual measurable achievement objective (AMAO) in progress in and attainment of English language proficiency, as well as adequate yearly progress (AYP) in reading, math, and science. The ESOL curriculum presents an integrated approach of the four language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
