Highland View Winter Concert
The Highland View community was treated to a lively concert performance by the advanced band and the chorus as they heralded in the festive mood of the season.
Under the direction of Ms. Underdue, the instrumental music teacher, the musicians delighted the audience with “Ode to Joy,” “Up on a Housetop,” “Jingle Bells,” and “Jolly Old St. Nick,” all seasonal favorites.
Ms. Pfaff, Highland View’s general music teacher, led the spirited chorus in singing: “Alpha Rondo,” “In the Spirit,” “For Winter,” “Peace on Earth,” and invited the audience to participate in the singing of “We Are Very Fine Musicians.”
Applause filled the entire room as students and families beamed with Highland View pride at the end of this sparkling musical performance.
