Blue Berries
By Kaylan

I love blueberries
They're wonderful to taste
Delicious and delectable,
Fantastic in a paste,
They are blue and berryful,
Succulent and sweet,
Fruity and yummy,
They are very hard to beat,
I'll eat them for an hour,
Maybe even more,
No one can stop me,
Until my tummy is sore,
Blueberry pastry,
Blueberry pie,
Blueberry muffin,
Those can't ever go bye-bye,
It is like each one says, "Please eat me!"
And you know of course I will,
We'll all be joyful, glad, and happy,
It'll be impossible to stand still,
Sometimes they're mushy and gushy,
Or maybe a little bit bad,
They aren't always fresh,
It makes me really sad,
I still love you blueberries,
They laugh with me at ease,
And we play many games,
Their enemy is cheese,
I immediately devour them,
Every single one,
They slide down my throat,
My fun has just begun,
I love you blueberries,
Yes, of course I do,
You are the best,
And what I say is true.

The Computer and Television
By Alex

Boob Tube you're on when there's nothing to do.
Really I love you, no joke, it's true.  You wake up
in the morning when I press a button or two.
Then when you're on, my eyes are glued.
So TV I love you, no joke, it's just true.
Computer, I love you, you're only there for me.

Strawberries
By Kiana

Strawberries, Strawberries are delicious and good
They put you in a great mood
There are different things you can make
Like a strawberry cake or even a strawberry milkshake
Strawberries, Strawberries are wonderful to eat
There's nothing else that can compete
With the fantastic taste of these wondrous fruit
Oh! What a beaut!
Strawberries are nice and extremely sweet
They surely are a great treat to sit down and eat
Strawberries, Strawberries taste like candy
That always will come in handy
Strawberries, Strawberries you're so marvelous.

Books
By Monica

Big ones, small ones, little ones, tall ones,
Thick ones, skinny ones, and even mini ones!
Books can make time-tick; tell you how to do a card trick,
And books are always handpicked.
Books can be made into movies; movies can be made into books.
Books are your friends who laugh and play with you.
True books
Real books
Chapter books
Helpful books
Picture books
Story books
Funny books
Fantasy books
Poetry books
Thesauri and dictionaries.
So many more to list and to find out,
you have to have someone who can assist.

Dolphins
By Annie

Splishing and splashing
diving in the deep.
their fins lashing,
swimming in the reef,
eyes shining with glee.
as they dance across the waves,
shouting out "Whoopee!"
dipping down into the ocean blue,
sweet, slender, and sly,
cuddly, caring, content too,
dolphins.

Heart and Brain
By Ben

The forever beating organ is just around the bend
And if you need a blood supply this one will never end
It is splendifick, splantastick, boomerifick, and bizarre
for it keeps going boom, boom, boom like a drum boom, boom, boom.
The completely thoughtful compound has messages to send
And since it is a brain it has cancer to kill instead of defend
And has a lot of things of which to tend.
But without your brain your heart's but a crumb
And without your heart your brain is dumb
For without thoughts your heart can't pump
And with no blood your brain can't jump
And so it is a never ending cycle, heart to brain, brain to heart.

Tropical Fruit
By Manuela

Tropical fruit, tropical fruit
Can I be specific?
I love you so much that
I think you're terrific

Coconuts are tropical fruit
That is very strange
But since it lives in the tropics
That will never change

Some tropical fruit can be weird looking
Others can be hairy
They also can live in weird bushes or trees
And look very contrary

Aye, I can't believe that I love them
When there're others to enjoy
These are the fruit I like the most
And they are the fruit you can't annoy
