MRSA Protocols at Greenwood Elementary School

The protocols in use have been developed under the guidance of the Montgomery County Dept of Health Services and the MCPS Safety Supervisor, Department of Facilities Management are being followed fastidiously.

Common spaces such as the Gym, Media Center, Computer Lab, and APR have all been treated including the floors.  The 1/10 bleach solution will continue to be applied daily to the tables and floors in the APR and Gym, as well as to all of the bathrooms. Students will continue to be provided with hand sanitizers for use before and after lunch.

DHS, the Environmental Safety Office and the school will continue to collaborate closely. Additional updates will be provided to the Greenwood community, if necessary.
