We will be participating in the Black-eyed Susan Book Program. Please click for the book list of nominated books for 2010.

Students in grades 1-2 will be listening to nominated picture books during their media center time. At the end of the program in April, students will vote for their favorite book. Their votes will be tallied and combined with students' votes from across the state of Maryland. The winning books will receive a special award. Students in grades 3 - 5 have the opportunity to independently read three novels and vote on their favorite book. When they finish each book they need to fill out a brief question-and-answer sheet. Then they may vote for their favorite book in April. They will come to a special "lunch bunch" in the media center for participating.
