Welcome new and returning families to Greencastle Elementary School.  Greencastle PTA invites you to join us to make a difference in education this year and for the children to have a positive, rewarding learning experience.  The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) is one of the largest volunteer organizations in the world.  Over six million members in the PTA range from parents, grandparents, and teachers to administrators, students, community leaders, and senior citizens.

We realize how important your children are to you and that you want the best for them.  Do you want to make a difference in your school, home and community?  Do you wish you could have more say and involvement in what happens in your children’s school?  Being a member of the Greencastle PTA can help you achieve that!  We all know children learn more and have better lives when parents, school staff, students, and the community work together.  You can become more informed by attending our monthly meetings typically held every 1st Tuesday of the month in the Media Center at 7pm.

PTA strives to bring parents and teachers together to share thoughts and ideas about programs and activities that benefit children and families.  Our PTA provides information and resources through newsletters, family programs, parent meetings, and other communication channels.

When you become a member, your support will bring us closer to accomplishing these goals.  Our dues are only $5.00 per member which includes an automatic enrollment to the monthly PTA Newsletter, which is only available to PTA members.  This informative newsletter will include details on upcoming events and an inside scoop on the latest news involving the PTA and Greencastle Elementary.  Parents, grandparents, or any adult 18 years of age or over may be a member of our PTA.  You can join the Greencastle PTA by filling out the attached sheet, remember to include your membership dues, and return it to school today.
