"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."- Margaret Mead

Schoolwide, we are promoting efficient and responsible energy use and focusing on being better recyclers.

As we practice environmental stewardship and implement energy saving strategies we earn awards. Our SERT team weekly checks all school rooms to monitor energy conservation and recycling habits.

Some of the ways we are easily able to conserve engery are: turning off lights and computers or closing shades when not in use or when a room is vacant. These are just some of the simple ways to save energy and show responsible behavior.

We are also trying to be a better "green" school. Recycling is a key way in preserving our earth's resources. The SERT team, and Student Government class representatives and alternates are responsible for educating their classrooms and monitoring good recycling behavior. Every little bit helps!
