GES Media Center Check-out Policies
Who: All students, staff and parents may check out books from the media center.
What: Two books at a time (one for kindergartners) -- and, for third graders and up, magazines.
When: Anytime during the school day, with permission and a pass from the classroom teacher. Also, every other week with the entire class. As soon as you finish a book, return it to select a new book.
Where: You know where!
How: Just bring your selections to the circulation desk (where Ms. Granger sits).
What's the Catch? If you don’t return one of your books, you’ll only be able to check out one new book. If you don’t return either one of your books, you won’t be able to take out any new books. If you don’t return your magazine, you won’t be able to check out a new magazine. And if you lose or seriously damage your books, you will, of course, have to pay for them. (But then, when you finally find it again, you’ll get reimbursed!)
