Dear GES Families and Friends,
I cannot believe I am already entering my 9th year as the principal of this wonderful school! We've accomplished so much, as a school community, and I am confident that we will continue on our road to success! These successes include, but are not limited to:
implementing rigorous reading programs such as Junior Great Books (K-5) and William and Mary (grades 2-5);
enriching math concepts for students in grades K-2 and accelerating numerous students to the next grade level for math instruction in grades 3-5 (with several students attending middle school for math instruction);

upgrading and updating the look of the school facility;
establishing partnerships with other educational institutions schools; and
strengthening home/school communications and relationships with an emphasis on our “10 for Excellence” program where parents support the school for a minimum of 10 hours each school year.
As you can see, we have lots to celebrate! With our excellent teaching staff, well-rounded and diverse student learners, supportive families, and my strong commitment to excellence, the future of Germantown Elementary is limitless!
As all members within the school community continue to work together, we must also take the time to celebrate one another, for we ALL are the glue that keeps this great school together. That is just one reason I love my job so much and look forward to our continued work together! Our focused and collaborative work will ensure that the students of Germantown will be afforded the best possible learning experience a school can provide.
