Working in partnership with the Montgomery County Public Schools and the County Government, the program operates from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., October through May. Students receive 66 hours of academic support during the school year for the modest fee of $20. The program prides itself on an impressive ratio of one certified teacher for every 14 students, which is improved to 1 to 6 with volunteer tutors. This teacher to student ratio essentially guarantees small group attention necessary to achieve success.
