NBC4 HISPANIC HERITAGE ESSAY CONTEST 2008. This contest, created in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, will focus on the unique cultural experience of Latino youth living in the US. Students who enter the contest must write a 1000-word essay in English on the theme "Why is Hispanic Heritage Month Important." Just like traditional courses, these online courses are taught by highly-qualified MCPS teachers.
