AND PARKING ON SCHOOL PROPERTY
You must turn in a completed application in order to
receive a parking permit. Cars must be parked upon arrival.
Students may not return to their cars until lunch or the end of student
school day. The permit must be prominently displayed on the rear
windshield. Student's cars must be parked in one of the designated student
lots. Students who abuse the privilege of driving to school will
have this privilege revoked. There will be no loitering in the
parking lot or on school grounds at any time. Illegally parked cars
are subject to towing and ticketing at all times. 
LOCKER
POLICY
Students will be assigned a locker for personal use at the beginning of
the school year. Administrators and security staff have the
authority to search student lockers with a reasonable cause. Full
details of this policy are contained in the Student
Rights and Responsibilities document. The school is not
responsible for loss of property from student lockers. Students are
not to share lockers. It is the student's responsibility to remove
all personal property at the end of the school year. All textbooks
should be returned to teachers and library books to the media center.
If withdrawing from GHS, media center materials and textbooks are to be
returned to the business office for clearance. 
LOST
AND FOUND PROCEDURES
Lost books should be returned to the media center or
appropriate department office. Lost personal articles should be
taken to the security office. Gaithersburg High School is not
responsible for personal items that are lost or stolen.

The one-lunch period will be from 10:51 a.m. through 11:34 a.m.
1.
Open lunch for grades 10, 11, and 12 is a privilege and not a right.
Misuse will result in individual suspension of this privilege.
2.
For 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students, if you leave school grounds,
you must do so safely. Overcrowding of cars will not be
permitted.
3.
The media center will be open during lunch as space permits for study
only.

VISITOR
POLICY
Visitors and/or
non-students must sign in when they enter the building. Students
are not to bring visitors to school. Parents who wish to visit the
school are always welcome and must check in with the main office upon
arrival to obtain a guest pass.
