National Honor Society
City of Gaithersburg Programs
The City of Gaithersburg offers many programs which provide support and opportunities to the students in our cluster, and in particular to GHS students. An informative brochure which describes and gives contact information for the programs/agencies that comprise the "Youth Opportunities Coalition" which include:
- B.R.O.T.H.E.R.S.
- Early Head Start (EHS)
- Forever Sisters
- G-Sharp
- GUIDE Youth Services
- Identity
- Liberty’s Promise
The City also offers a Student Union which provides open gym sessions at Bohrer Park, access to the Olde Towne Youth Center, discounts on field trips and student service learning hour opportunities. Membership in the Student Union is $5.00/year for Gaithersburg residents and $10.00/year for non-Gaithersburg residents. I have also attached the membership form for this program.
