The 2007-2008 GHS Dance Team consists of 20 talented young females who can strut their stuff and "work it" like none other.  The team hold practices daily and is constantly working hard in order to move with great precision.  The dance team is sponsored by the beautiful Ms. Bledsoe who has been working with this club for four years. 

CLUB OBJECTIVES:

To build self-esteem and to create a positive environment where young people are physically fit, emotionally stable, and academically successful.

WHY DANCE?

The award-winning Gaithersburg High School Dance Team is dedicated to building self-esteem through actively participating in school and community competition.  Our participants develop discipline, communication and social skills, proper deportment and etiquette, while learning to function as a part of a team.  Students earn community service learning hours by participating in exhibitions, and community fundraisers, but more importantly, they earn fundamental life skills and a sense of pride in their accomplishments.

WHO SHOULD JOIN?

The Dance Tem enjoys a diverse multiethnic population open to all students in the Gaithersburg High School Family.
