Study Island is a computer program that assists students in meeting the Maryland State Assessment benchmarks. All AIP students should attend at least one day per week.

Art Club Mr. Cuff Wednesdays/year Room 700 Students will be working with various art materials to create products. Projects and groups will change every 4 - 6 wks. * Max of 12 students. Check for availability.

1st and 3rd Wed of each month
Room 807 All students are welcome. The yearbook club members take photographs, select the yearbook cover, advertise the club and yearbook, and create the yearbook.

It is open to 7th and 8th grade advanced students in the instrumental music program. 6th graders and students not currently in band will also be considered by audition.
Extended Reading/Math Program Ms. Hunt, Coordinator November-March Designated Classrooms Program to support identified students with enrichment activities. Attendance is MANDATORY!
Cross Country Mr. Bernstein Sept - Oct 22 GMS Students will participate in track meets, both at GMS and at other schools. Open to boys and girls in 7th and 8th grade. Must attend practice.
Flag Football Intramurals Mr. Whitlow Spring (April - May) Back Fields All student will be able to participate in developing skills related to non-contact flag football, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Intramural Basketball Mr. Whitlow October Gym Students will develop skills in basketball, teamwork, and sportsmanship
Intramural Track Challenge Tentative April - May Outside Students will practice correct running form in various track and field events.
