Study Island	Varies	Wednesdays and Thrusdays	Reading -Lab 400 Math - Lab 402	Study Island is a computer program that assists students in meeting the Maryland State Assessment benchmarks. All AIP students should attend at least one day per week.
Student Government Association	Ms. Rossini	Sept 23 - May 12 Will meet on the 2nd and 4th Wed of the month ( Subject to change)	Room 107	SGA serves the GMS student body by representing its best interest and needs to the administration, faculty, staff parents, and greater community. Students are elected or appointed.

Art Club	Mr. Cuff	Wednesdays/year	Room 700	Students will be working with various art materials to create products. Projects and groups will change every 4 - 6 wks. * Max of 12 students. Check for availability.
Yearbook	Ms. Bransford	Starts Sept 23 1st and 3rd Wed of each month	Room 807	All students are welcome. The yearbook club members take photographs, select the yearbook cover, advertise the club and yearbook, and create the yearbook.
Go GMS	Mr. Delisle	Thursday/year	Gym Lobby	Young men supporting each other towards success. Open to all males who want to come.
Jazz Band	Ms Ehrenspeck	Thursday/year	Room 603 Band Room	It is open to 7th and 8th grade advanced students in the instrumental music program. 6th graders and students not currently in band will also be considered by audition.
Extended Reading/Math Program	Ms. Hunt, Coordinator	November-March	Designated Classrooms	Program to support identified students with enrichment activities. Attendance is MANDATORY!
Cross Country	Mr. Bernstein	Sept - Oct 22	GMS	Students will participate in track meets, both at GMS and at other schools. Open to boys and girls in 7th and 8th grade. Must attend practice.
Flag Football Intramurals	Mr. Whitlow	Spring (April - May)	Back Fields	All student will be able to participate in developing skills related to non-contact flag football, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
