Forest Oak Middle School Bay Studies Program
Recycling
In January 2001 the 8th grade Bay Studies group started collecting mixed paper recycling. These students go to empty classrooms around the school during the lunch periods to collect the paper. A student committee also developed a report card. They leave a report card in each room to let everyone know how well they are doing.
Recycling is demonstrated a lot in this school from all staff and students! We think it is important to keep our school clean because we want to make it the best place for learning it can be. The cleaner we make our school, the more we can save our environment. Maybe we can also attract more wild life and witness one of the most beautiful things nature brings us.
Special thanks to Jerome Foreman, our Building Services Manager, and his staff for supporting our recycling efforts at Forest Oak Middle School
You can learn more about recycling on the internet, as we did, from these sites on the Web.
