Dear Forestry Board:

Thank you for coming out to help us plant trees. It was kind of you to come out and give up some of your time to plant trees with us.

I learned that Riparian Buffers act as filters for runoff. I learned that they prevent nutrients, sediments and toxins from entering the stream. I also learned that they provide habitat for animals.

Planting the trees was good because they provide oxygen, habitat, and they look nice. Again thank you for coming out to help us plant trees.

Sincerely,

Tony H., Student, Forest Oak MS
