Algae

(Nostoc Pruniforme)

Algae is a gelatinous mass. It forms a scum on the top of the water. The most common type of algae in ponds is green algae. Its filaments may float or become attached to objects. They live in ponds, streams, and lakes. They can grow in water up to 60 feet deep.
