Bullfrogs were once found only in the eastern part of the United States. Now they are found throughout the United States. They live in weedy areas around ponds. The bullfrog grows to be about 8 inches long. Bullfrogs are a dark green. Bullfrogs make a croaking sound that sounds like "jug-arum". A lot of the time bullfrogs engage in wrestling matches over territory and over females. It takes about 5 years for them to mature, and they survive for about 16 years.
