Team 7-1 Toads Skipjack Field Experience

A group of 7-1 students experienced the Chesapeake Bay firsthand aboard the Cheaspeake Bay Foundation's skipjack, the "Stanley Norman". During this one day field experience, students dredged for and studied oysers, experienced a little of the life of Chesapeake watermen, helped navigate the boat, and learned how out actions affect the health of the Bay.

This trip was funded by grants from the Maryland Department of Natural Resources and the Chesabeake Bay Trust.
