After School Activities
 at Forest Knolls ES

Introduction

We are fifth grade students who have been working hard to design a webpage that describes after school and extra curricular activities that are happening at Forest Knolls Elementary School. In order to do this project, we had to find out what after school and in school activities were going on. We found out which day the activity was going on so we could take photos of the students in these activities. Then we had to interview the teachers who were  teaching the activities. We sent notes to the teachers and asked them if they could make time for an interview by one of the web page students. The teachers were happy to be interviewed for the web page.

When the interviews were done, we typed the interviews in paragraphs. After that, we spell-checked them to be correct. The photos we took were on five computer disks which we put into the computer. Then we resized the photos because they were too big. Not all of the photos succeeded because some of them were blurry. We deleted those photos and took another photo if we needed it.

We used a software program called “Front Page” to make our web pages. Listed below you will discover a table with the names of the activities which are links to the web pages that tell you about the different activities.
