Next Tuesday, October 17, 2017, SGA will be hosting its annual Fall Blood Drive. Please pick up a permission form on Main Street during lunch. You must be 16 years or older to participate. Signed permission forms must be submitted by Friday, October 13, 2017 to schedule an appointment. Appointments will begin at 8:00am until 1:30pm. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Moore (in room 205).

Hey, Titans! Are you artistic, creative, scientific or entrepreneurial?
The ACT-SO competition is for you! ACT-SO stands for Afro-Academic, Cultural, Technological, Scientific Olympics and it gives you an opportunity to develop and project in the Sciences, Humanities, Performing Arts, Visual Arts or Business.
There is a kick-off celebration on Saturday October 14th at the East County Community Center in Silver Spring at 11:00am.
At the kick-off, you will learn all about the competition and get some help with college planning!
If you are interested in competing or attending the celebration, please see Ms. King in room 113 on Main Street as soon as possible!

Attention Juniors & Seniors!
You and your parents are invited to attend the College Financial Aid Night at Einstein High School TOMORROW at 7:00pm. Learn about the financial aid process and have your questions answered. Additionally, you will receive guidance regarding the process on completing and submitting the FAFSA forms. Completing the FAFSA gives you access to the largest sources of financial aid to pay for college or career. Sessions will be held in English and Spanish
All techies and gamers interested in coding competitions, game design, animations, original app designs, cybersecurity, and much more. Please meet Mrs. Lewis and Mrs. Norris in LAB 134, every Thursday at lunch to explore and tap into other areas of tech, gaming, and programming.

The wrestling team will be hosting an interest meeting Friday October 13th at the beginning of lunch. All students who want to try out for the wrestling team need to come to this meeting in order to get the paper work needed BEFORE the season starts. Weight certification, physical, and parent consent form will be handed out. The meeting will be held in Portable 3. If you can not attend the meeting, see Coach Salazar for more information.

Do you Love math? Then the mathletes is the team for you! The mathlete is a Math team that competes against other schools in the county in math based competitions. Students this week we will continue our YMCA after school program. Board games, card games, and Xbox one games will be readily accessible. SNACKS WILL BE PROVIDED.! Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
French tutoring is now available twice per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays during lunch in Room 28 or 30. French Honor Society members will be available to help students.
There will be a meeting of THE CHRISTIAN CLUB, at lunch EVERY Friday in room 263. All those interested in the relevance of Christianity are welcome to attend.
