Seniors!

         You must complete the College/Scholarship survey that is required by the State of Maryland. Please go to Naviance, Family Connections and click on the tab About Me . This Graduation survey MUST be completed by May 5st.

  Complete the survey at home or stop by the Career Center, room 114 during lunch.  It will only take a few minutes.

This is a requirement for graduation and is a part of your Senior Clearance !

 

SENIORS - LEAVE YOUR LEGACY AT EINSTEIN - PUT YOUR SENIOR WILL IN THE NUCLEUS. WHAT WILL YOU LEAVE TO YOUR FRIENDS? REMIND YOUR SQUAD OF ALL THE BEST MEMORIES AND INSIDE JOKES FROM THE LAST FOUR YEARS. TELL US IN LESS THAN 100 WORDS WHAT YOU WILL LEAVE BEHIND FOR YOUR FRIENDS AND THE UNFORTUNATE UNDERCLASSMEN WHO WILL BE STUCK HERE WHEN YOU GO. TURN IN YOUR WILL TO MR. KAVLOCK IN ROOM 152 NO LATER THAN MAY 12TH.

 

Seniors taking PARCC Algebra I or ELA 10 and any eligible Spanish Algebra I paper test takers will test, May 2-5.

SENIORS - If you missed a required assessment in January then you MUST test the first two weeks in May.  DO NOT DELAY or you risk being able to graduate.  See your guidance counselor, administrator or Ms. Leaman if you are unsure about your status.   

All other students in grades 9-11 will complete their testing during the last two weeks in May.  All students must report for testing as scheduled throughout the month of May.  Counselors, teachers and administrators will have testing rosters so if you are unsure about whether you are to test, please reach out and ask. 

 

Hey Titans! SGA is looking for new student ambassadors for the upcoming school year. If you have tons of school pride and would like to promote school-wide events, please pick up a packet from Ms. Moore --- room 205. Please read through the packet carefully --- no names should be listed, only student ids. Packets must be submitted by Friday, May 19th, 2017 to Ms. Moore --- No exceptions!

 

Attention Seniors! Where have you been accepted to college? Have you made a decision about where you're attending next year or what your plans are? Inquiring minds need to know! Actually, Ms. Malner in the Counseling Services office, needs to know. As soon as possible, please check in with Ms. Malner, so that she can input the information into Naviance.

 

Hey, Titans! Ready to get your learning permit?
AEHS is offering the LAST opportunity to take the Learner's Permit Written Test after school on Thursday, May 17th at 3:00pm in room 154. You must be at least 15 years and 9 months old on the day of the test to be eligible. The test can be given in English or Spanish.

There is no cost to take the written portion of the test and you will know THAT DAY if you passed the test.

Pick up a Driver's Manual and permission slip from Ms. King in room 113 on Main Street.

 

The W. E. B. du Bois Honor Society will be having tutoring sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays for AP exams. Come by during lunch in Ms. Moore's room --- room 205 for more information

 

THE YEARBOOK IS ALMOST HERE! BUT YOU HAVEN'T BOUGHT YOURS, AND THEY WILL BE SOLD OUT SOON!! RESERVE YOUR COPY, AND YOUR SPOT AT THE MAY 15TH RELEASE PARTY, BY PURCHASING THE YEARBOOK TODAY! BRING $80 TO MR. KAVLOCK IN ROOM 152 BEFORE ITS TOO LATE.

 

The new AEHS technology club will be meeting every Monday and Wednesday after school in room 275! If you have an interest in robotics, website construction, mobile app design or any other aspect of technology come join us.  See Ms. Mackey for more info!

 

French tutoring is now available twice per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays during lunch in Room 28 or 30.  French Honor Society members will be available to help students.

 

There will be a meeting of THE CHRISTIAN CLUB, at lunch EVERY Friday in room 263.  All those interested in the relevance of Christianity are welcome to attend.
