Congratulations to the Titans Swim and Dive team for their victory against Kennedy. The Titans edged out the Cavaliers by a score of 178 to 160. Both boys and girls put together their best effort of the year as they notched a big Divisional win. The meet was capped off by the one/two finish of the girls 400 Free Relays. Marra Tripodi, Elsyse Frank, Casey Lamkin and Carol Anderson, just edged out the other Titan relay squad of Alicia Lamkin, Erin Gallagher, Jordan Coyne, and Jana Catuche to seal the Titan victory. Zeke Gonzalez was a winner in the 200 Free and 100 Butterfly. Alicia Lamkin, Elyse Frank, and Erin Gallagher swept the girls 200 Freestyle, and Carol Anderson won the 200 IM and the 100 Backstroke. Jordan Coyne won the diving portion of the event. Congratulations Titans!
Congrats to the Titans Swim and Dive team for their great showing against Blake. Zeke Gonzalez and Carol Anderson won the 200 yard Freestyle, and Carol Anderson qualified to swim at the 2011 METROS State Championships with her strong second place in the 500 yard freestyle. Congratulations also go to Elyse Frank, Alicia Lamkin, Jana Catuche, and Carol Anderson, for their exciting come from behind win in the girls 400 yard Free Relay.
Congratulations to the Titans Swim and Dive team for a great meet against Magruder. The Titans came up short in their Division 3 debut, but looked very strong against one of last years best teams. 1st place finishers included Sophomore Carol Anderson, who won the 200 and 500 Meter Freestyles. And Junior Zeke Gonzalez, who won the 500 Meter Freestyle. Senior Captain Sam Kaiser placed 2nd in the 100 Meter Backstroke. The Titans will take on Gaithersburg this coming Saturday at 2:30pm at Montgomery College Takoma Park.
