Thomas Edison High School of Technology is unique compared to regular Montgomery County Public Schools. All Thomas Edison programs have an academic base, industry competency requirements, employability skill development and career/college planning components, as well as opportunities for leadership development. Our programs have strong partnerships with related businesses, industries, and with colleges that feature similar or related majors. Instructors for the programs are teacher certified and have extensive experience in their technical fields. Because of the quality educational package offered at Thomas Edison, students graduate from the programs prepared to enter the career market and pursue college work.
