Biotechnology will be dealing with the working of the cell and the secrets of DNA finger-printing. This course also includes delving into molecular, engineering microbe, and cloning tissues. It is a state-of-the-art technology facility led by a highly skilled staff.

Biotechnology provides a sampling of many areas in science as well as serving as a door to others.

  • Completion of Biology with a B or better
  • Have taken or are taking chemistry
  • Completed at least Algebra 1, preferable Algebra 2

    • Students completing both semesters of Biotechnology with an average of B or better will be eligible for consideration in summer and second-year internship programs in a variety of areas in biotechnology.
