Automotive Body Technology is a two-year class. This program develops skills for entry level employment in automotive body shops specializing in collision repair and painting.
Students follow the I-CAR Education Foundation curriculum which includes both classroom and hands-on proficiencies and assessments.

- Students to be educated in automotive restoration and repair through panel installation, trim replacement, surface preparation, and painting.
- Also to do metal work mastery, in which students learn to weld, braze, solder, straighten, and shrink metals

- Standard work skills (reporting on time, turning in work completed)
- Ability to follow multi-step directions
- Acceptance of a shop environment (willingness to get dirty)
- Good gross motor skills to handle tools
- Willingness to do hard physical labor(on their feet up to 2 ½ hours)
