Nail Technology is a one-year course that provides hands-on training in a realistic setting for students to master skills and learn salon management. The classroom/laboratory is set up to simulate a working salon. Students practice their skills as they operate the salon. The course is designed to prepare students to bacome licensed manicure technicians. Students earn 30 student service learnning hours during this one-year course. The students interact with a variety of customers and learn to develop excellent customers relations skills and communacation skills. It also offers the students the opportunity to experience the joy of giving and helping others. All students who complete this course for employment.
