Physical Education Specialist We have a very active and fun year in physical education (P.E.). Our primary goal in P.E. is to encourage all students to participate in a variety of skill areas with an emphasis on physical fitness. All students are encouraged and expected to do their best within their own abilities for each activity. To help your child to be successful in their attempts to perform their best, there are few things that your child will need to help accomplish those tasks. Your child will need to eat a nutritious breakfast before coming to school, or have breakfast at school. For your child's safety and comfort, please have your child wear sneakers and loose-fitting pants or shorts to their P.E. class. The first and second grade students will be participating in physical education twice a week, and preschool, kindergarten, third, fourth and fifth grades once a week. Please note when your child has P.E. and have them dress appropriately. If you have any questions or concerns about the physical education program, please do not hesitate to call me at DuFief.
