A Day with the Dinosaurs

DuFief Elementary
Kindergarten Classes
March 2003

Kindergarten scientists participated in an in-house field trip sponsored by the DuFief PTA. This field trip included a visit from Dr. Peter Krantz, a real life paleontologist! Students studied fossil artifacts, designed and built dinosaur habitats, and learned how to set up and use an excavation grid. Parent volunteers coordinated and ran this event with the support of our wonderful kindergarten teachers.
