Dear Parents, Teachers, and Staff of DuFief Elementary,
As president of the DuFief Parent Teacher Association (PTA), I would like to
extend a warm welcome to you all. The PTA Executive Committee and many
chairpersons have planned an activity filled year for our children. Here is
what YOU can do to help us reach our goal of 100% membership and
participation.
- Join Today!: PTA members receive a Student Directory, a "Note to School" memo pad, along with the privilege to vote at
the local, state and national levels. If you have any questions or need
additional information, please contact me!
- Participate: Your active participation is encouraged and NEEDED!
- Communicate: We welcome your comments, questions & suggestions via
telephone, e-mail, and best of all, face-to-face.
- Attend Monthly PTA Meetings: Guest speakers, parent workshops, and
topics of interests {grade K-5} will be discussed.
- Stay Informed: Look for and read the
Dragon's Breath, our PTA newsletter,
and visit the web site weekly. The Dragon's Breath will come home monthly in your child's Thursday folder.
It is also available on-line to eGroup members.
You can join our parents' Email group too!
- Volunteer: At school, at home, on field trips, during the day, at lunch, in the
evening... There is a way your time/talents can be utilized.
Please contact the Volunteer Coordinators through the PTA mailbox.
It is a privilege to be a part of the DuFief community. I look forward to a wonderful year!
