WEEK 3-4:

During weeks 3 and 4 students will continue to examine the characteristics of adventure stories. They will compare two or more settings, events, and characters in an adventure story.  Students will analyze how a multi-media representation would contribute to the meaning of an adventure story.

Students will focus on responding to specific questions in collaborative discussions, accurately quote text when drawing inferences, and use details from the text in determining the theme of a story.
