Elvis is back and in the building! The Damascus Drama Club presents the Elvis inspired musical All Shook Up tonight, March 16th at 7pm, and Saturday March 17th at 2pm and 7pm. Tickets for students are $7 and adults are $10.

Do you have a talent you would like to show off? The International Club is looking for talented students to perform during the International Night on March 23rd. All talents are welcome such as: dancing, singing, playing instruments and modeling. Sign up in Mrs. Mendez's room.

Do you still need SSL hours? The International Club is looking for volunteers to help with preparations for the International Night in exchange for service hours. Please see Mrs. Mendez or Brooke Siever if you are interested in helping out.

Reflections Art Program:
Congratulations to Lucas Martinho for his accomplishment in the Maryland PTA Reflections program. There were submissions from all across the state, and Lucas earned an Award of Merit. Great job Lucas! Congratulations!

Scholarship Opportunities

DHS Athletic Booster Club would like to award 1 female and 1 male senior student athlete with a $1000.00 scholarship. An application with instructions can be picked up from Joe Doody, the Counseling office, and Mr. Martin's office and are due 4/13/18. Any questions can be addressed to Natasha Wilkerson at

Music Seniors: 2018 Music Scholarship applications are now available from Mr. Doherty in the Band Room or Mrs. Goldsmith in the Choral Room. Up to four $500 awards may be given out. You must be in a music class for your entire senior year, plus an additional 4 semesters during your high school career to qualify.
If you intend to apply for one of these scholarships, the deadline is end of school on Wednesday March 21, so pick up your application today!

ACTIVITY BUS – The activity bus will run every Wednesday and Thursday (except on early release days) beginning September 13, 2017 through May, 2018. Pick up is in front of the school by the flagpole at 4:30.
