HAWAIIAN SHIRT FRIDAY -- Students...do something a bit 'out there' tomorrow, and wear a tacky Hawaiian shirt for 'Tacky Hawaiian Shirt Friday'! Show your fashion 'Faux Pas' (pronounced FOE PAW) on Tacky Hawaiian shirt Friday...and see how outrageously you can out tackify your fellow students.

CANNED FOOD DRIVE -- Now for today’s Food Drive featured announcement – Will the sophomore class be the sleepers in this challenge. Lying low all week, they may just prove that the last 2 days of the drive ARE always the biggest. It could very well be that the class of 2012 IS saving the ‘best till last’. The freshmen class coming on strong in this drive. The math department must be marveling at the beauty of a near perfect arithmetic progression for Freshmen– they have DOUBLED the number of items brought in each day. If they keep the pattern going, FRESHMEN will take out the seniors and juniors! BREAKING NEWS! The SENIORS have asserted their rightful place as leaders and dominators in school spirit, taking over the lead in this year’s drive. Is there any question that the CLASS OF 2010 is THE BEST? Which class will be able challenge that status with time running out? The JUNIORS, having prevailed all week as the leaders, have slipped into second place. But there is hope! They are just 125 items behind the senior class. Will the enthusiasm we heard from the JUNIORS at this year’s first pep rally materialize in this challenge? Only tomorrow will tell! CHECK THE ROTUNDA TODAY FOR CURRENT TOTAL DONATIONS! JUST ONE MORE DAY!
