It is with great pleasure that I, Ms. Melissa Brunson, greet you as principal of Cloverly Elementary School.  My previous experiences of being a teacher, adjunct professor, assistant principal, principal intern, and acting principal contributes to my role and responsibilities as an instructional leader.

I am committed to each child’s educational excellence, promoted through a rigorous curriculum, a dedicated and knowledgeable staff, and a parent community whose partnership I value.  I believe that in this close, nurturing school environment, where each child's individual needs are addressed, our children will reach their highest potential, both academically and socially. 

I am very proud of the educational progress that our students continue to make each year and remain confident that this school year will yield even greater success.
