School Emergency Information

PBIS Scavenger Hunt

On Wednesday, Sept. 9 the Clopper Mill cougars showed that they know their ABCs. From kindergarten to fifth grade all students took part in a school-wide scavenger hunt. Clues were placed around the school to remind students about appropriate behavior in the different areas of the building and school grounds. As classes successfully completed the hunt, they were led out onto the school playground where they worked together to form the letters ABC.

The Clopper Mill ABCs are the behavioral expectations that students and staff developed as a part of our PBIS program. They remind students that as Clopper Mill cougars we will:

Act Safely

Be committed to learning

Care about ourselves, others and the environment

Since instituting the ABCs last year, the Clopper Mill cougars have improved their behavior, increased their time on task, and most importantly, enhanced their ability to learn. This year's scavenger hunt was a fun way to reinvigorate our students for another great year of learning. Way to ROAR Clopper Mill!
