Academics
Our school opened in 1994, and it was renovated to add classrooms for the centers for highly gifted in 2002. Our goal is simple: We want to provide a rigorous course of study for every child in a safe, welcoming environment. Our goal is to collaborate with parents and students to make our students' adolescent years positive and memorable.
Our instructional program is organized around the concept of teams which include staff from all of the departments to make the necessary connections between content areas and increase the relevance of the curriculum. We invite all parents to become involved in their child's education by joining and participating in the PTSA.
Middle school is an exciting time in children's lives, and we want to do all that we can do to help our students maximize their potential.
Check our school calendars to find out when events are scheduled. The schools offers an Athletics program for 7th and 8th graders and an intramural sports program for all grades. Additionally, there are a variety of clubs and after school activities that are offered to students each year.
