Global Warming: Fossil Fuels

A Description of Our Video

Hello, and welcome to our Web page about Global Warming. We are explaining how fossil fuel can damage the environment and cause Global Warming.

In the beginning of the clip, we explain what is fossil fuel. Fossil fuel is oil, coal, and natural gas that is originally from plants and animals. This causes the fossil fuel to be non-renewable.

Later on in the video clip, we explain that due to the pollution created by the fossil fuel the air is being polluted. When the air is polluted, the Earth's atmosphere line, or the ozone layer, will be destroyed. This is not a good thing. Before all the sevear pollution, the Earth's ozone layer was in good condition. This allows the sun's rays from the Sun to enter the Earth and have a reasonable amount of sun rays to enter back out. Now that the Earth's ozone layer is becoming destroyed, the sun rays will come and instead of going back out, they stay here. The more sun rays that stays inside the Earth, the hotter it will be. This leads into the topic of Global Warming.

We chose this topic about Global Warming because Global Warming is a big issue that affects the whole world. We think that everyone should know that if we, the people and the government, don't do anything to stop pollution, as it gets hotter and hotter animals are losing their homes due to the temperature rising. Also animals that live on ice might die out because their homes will melt. That is why we think that people should be aware of what is happening to our world and should help prevent our Earth to become a hot-flaming ball that no organisms can live on.
