Scholarship

Candidates must be juniors or seniors who have attended Clarksburg

Candidates must have a cumulative un-weighted grade point average of 3.57 at the time of their application, as of the last marking period report card.

The candidate must have completed four academic courses each semester for grades 9, 10, and 11.  For the 12th grade year, the candidate must be enrolled in four academic courses.

Leadership-Two Options for Demonstration of Leadership

Option 1-The candidate must have held at least one elected or appointed position in a school or community organization for a time period equivalent to one semester.
Option 2-The candidate will show evidence of leadership using the criteria listed on the leadership page which must be documented by two Clarksburg Staff members.
Leadership positions are those in which the student is responsible for directing or motivating others.  For example, playing on a team is NOT a leadership position; managing a team with associated leadership responsibilities would be.  It is the applicant’s responsibility to make sure that your qualifications are clearly and specifically outlined in the letter of reference.

The candidate must have earned the graduation requirement for SSL hours for their grade level. Example class of 2008 needs 60 SSL hours.
