Welcome to the 2009/10 school year! It takes all of us to make a great school and community; so, we are looking for YOU to volunteer at CHS!

There are many opportunities: you can give your time in the front office, your culinary skills for staff appreciation, your time to fill one of the open committee chair positions, and/or your time to help within a particular committee. Also, there are many occasions where the school needs volunteers for specific events at the school, during and after school hours.

We welcome and appreciate all of our parents, grandparents, extended family and friends to help in any way they can. I am building our volunteer list for this year so please let me know how you can help!

Staff Appreciation

Want to volunteer, but can't find the time? Join the baking committee for Staff Appreciation. We will bake monthly for staff meetings.

It's a great way to show the staff you care, and it's as simple as making a dish the months you are able and dropping it off at the school. Just send me an email and we'll put you on the email list for bakers.

We are also looking for someone that would like to take on Staff Appreciation for the 2010-2011 school year. Please consider this position- it is fun and a great way to get to know the staff and parents.

Parent volunteers who are bi-lingual would certainly help them communicate more effectively with many in our community.

The Clarksburg PTSA is an organization of volunteer parents,

teachers and students that strives to improve the education,

health, safety, and general well-being of all students.
