By now you should be checking out all the scholarship opportunities that come your way as well as start working on your FAFSA worksheet.

Also note: We will host another ASVAB Test here at Clarksburg on March 13, 2009 from 7:30am -10:30 am. Please sign up in the College Career Cafe after Thursday, Jan., 8, 2009 or send me an email if interested. I will send the permission slip/flyer to you electronically .

Applications for the 2008-2009 Maryland Distinguished Scholars are now being accepted. Based off your academic performance it appears you meet or are very close to the the min 3.7 academic gpa cut off.

I encourage you to complete the attached Maryland Distinguished Scholarship Calculation sheet below or @ http://www.mhec.state.md.us/financialAid/ProgramDescriptions/2008calcsheet.xls
and return to me no later than February 1, 2009. You will need to get an unofficial transcript from the registrar Mrs. Geisler to complete the sheet. Be sure to ONLY list academic classes.
