Mrs. Wade

Hello, my name is Nicole Indya Wade. I have a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from National Louis University. My favorite subjects are writing and reading. My hobbies are shopping, traveling, and of course eating out. I have a dog named Mickey and many Madagascar hissing cockroaches.

Ms. Mathers

My name is Megan  Mathers and I am so excited to be teaching third grade at Chevy Chase Elementary for the fifth year now.  I have been teaching for 11 years.  Before I taught here at Chevy Chase, I taught at Glenn Dale Elementary School in PG County.  I went to the University of Maryland for my Bachelor's Degree, Bowie State University for my Master's Degree, and have taken classes at GW University(Can you tell I think learning is really important??!!).  In my free time I love to read (especially Harry Potter!), try new restaurants with my family and friends, and watch movies.  I live in Washington, D.C., so I try and take advantage of the many exciting things living in the city has to offer. 

Ms. Nimitarnun 

My name is Katie Nimitarnun and this is my second year here at CCES. I taught kindergarden and first grade in California, and I moved to Maryland for a new adventure. I attended Chapman University in Southern California, where I got my teaching certificate. I love to go out to restaurants and be outdoors with my friends. I have a dog named Gidget, who is still in California. I miss her very much. I am very excited to be here at CCES!

Mrs. Broeg 

Mrs. Broeg moved from New Jersey to Maryland in 1999 to attend the University of Maryland.  She began teaching fourth grade at CCES in 2003. She really enjoys reading, sewing, and camping.  Her favorite children’s book authors include Roald Dahl, John Sczieska, and Carl Hiaasen.  Mrs. Broeg looks forward to teaching her first third grade class at CCES this year!
