Announcements and Important Dates:

  • Parent Conferences are November 11th and November 12th, please contact Ms.Dorfman if you would like her to attend a conference with you and your child's teacher.
  • Cedar Grove Elementary will be participating in a canned and boxed food drive to benefit Damascus Help. The drive will take place from November 5th-November 18th. Please bring items in as often as you’d like. Boxes will be set up in each classroom and in the main hallway to collect food. Thank you for your support.
  • Cedar Grove Elementary collected $356.00 for the Heavenly Hats Foundation. Thank you to everyone who supported this wonderful cause.

Lessons:

K, 1st, and 2nd Grades: Students will learn the difference between tattling and reporting. We will read A Bad Case of Tattle Tongue by Julia Cook. Students will be able to apply what they've learned to real life situations.

3rd, 4th, and 5th Grades: Students will learn study skills and have an opportunity to rate their study habits. They will also understand the importance of having a plan to succeed in school.
