The Cashell Media Center strives to nurture a love of reading, provide all students with the experience necessary to independently retrieve and evaluate information, and provide services for the faculty, staff and parents as well as students.

The Library Media Program will:

• Provide resources that support the MCPS curriculum and the needs of a diverse student population.
• Provide equitable access to ideas, information, and services.
• Promote reading and the appreciation of literature as lifelong activities.
