The Media Center staff has been busy with the orientation of all classes, administrative tasks, and the new technology. The primary grades and the School Community Based Programs are learning about book care and checking out many new items. The upper grades are learning about the policies and the procedures of the Media Center as well as how to locate materials they need. All staff and students are learning to use the new DELL computers from the 2007 Technology Modernization Plan. Thanks to the Cashell PTA for their generous purchase of four additional computers. This enabled our school to have a complete computer lab of 28 computers! We have many new software programs that will enhance the reading and writing skills throughout the curriculum. As part of the Tech Mod 07 plan, there will be continuous training throughout the year.
