Project: Quality Time was created by MCPS Art teachers to foster & promote family togetherness with the support of local cultural institutions by establishing partnerships with students, their families, and the community. We create events that bring families together to spend quality time in an art inspired environment.
For the past three years we have hosted weekends at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. We are currently looking for a new museum to collaborate with for a spring event - so stay tuned!
In the meantime, we are creating self-guides for you to use. Take the guide with you to one of the many museums and galleries in the area. Many have free admission! Please take advantage of this opportunity to spend quality time with your child while looking at art and engaging in meaningful conversations about art.
