THIRD GRADE NEWS

Dear Parents and Students,

We would like to thank all classroom parents who helped with our successful class Halloween parties, and a special thanks to our room parents, Leslie Reed and Amy Crawford, for organizing the event.

Teachers were hard at work preparing grades on Monday, November 2nd for the end of the first marking period. November 11th and 12th are early release days, and parent conferences will be held on those days. We appreciate as much communication as possible to help our students progress this year. Don’t forget to confirm your conference date and time with your child’s teacher if you haven’t already!

On November 16th, the 3rd graders will have their first field trip! We will be attending a presentation of Charlotte's Web at Magruder H.S. from 9:30 A.M.12:30 P.M. Thanks to the generosity of our PTA, there is no charge for transportation; however, a $5.00 fee is required (per student) to attend the event.

Remember- the Wednesday before Thanksgiving is a half day. To those families celebrating Thanksgiving- enjoy your feast!
